In class we had to boil water to 63 degrees Celsius and while we where doing it we had some safety rules like not to sit too close to the boiling water because it could spill and burn you we also learnt that you have to watch out for curtains around the Bunsen burner so you dont burn down the classroom. We learnt about Isaac newton and how he discovered gravity.
I learnt how to calculate the force of pulling my bag. It is measured in Newtons. It's named after the person who discovered gravity when a apple fell on his head which was Isaac Newton. Don't sit next to the bunsen burner just in case it may spill the boiling water on you and tuck the curtains away behind the wall. lso don't forget to wear safety goggles.
In science our class was set 3 experiments to do in groups of 3 or 2.They were to put water in a beaker and heat it up to 60'.we also had to see how long it took water to leave a bottle and had to time it. We had to learn too measure water your height, 100 metre race, the force needed to pull a rock and the width of your finger nail. We also learnt the main rule of being safe in the science lab.
today in science i learned how to measure the temperature with the thermometer and used the Bunsen burner and the beaker(that was filled)and i also learnt to tuck curtains behind the little wall thing.we also timed how long the water will tip out of the bottle with the weird timer. After all that we used a forced meter to test how heavy our bags were and that was by using newtons.
Today in science I learnt that thermometers are easy to break and when you break on you put the thermometer in a container instead of the bin. When using thermometers do not leave it in the water because it can cause the hot boiling water to spill and burn you. Thermometers are used to measure the temperature of the water.
In science we had to boil the water to 63 degrees some of the rules we learnt was to tuck the curtain behind the wall so it didn't catch on fire and to wear safety glasses witch only our group did We also learnt about how Isaac newton discovered gravity.
In science we learnt how to measure the temperature of boiling water To the degree of 60. We also measured the height of the water in a beaker I learnt how intend the weight of my bag.
I learnt how to cater for 500 people, and when you collect the plates and cutlery you stack them up and put all the scraps in one plate on top, and put the cutlery on the top plate.
in science i learnt that when you heat the water and take the temperature don't let the thermometer touch the cup thing and to use a safety mat. i also learnt to tuck the curtains behind the wall to make sure it don't catch on fire and when u do science stuff always were safety goggles.
During our lesson on Friday many new things and safety rules were learnt. I learnt how force is measured and the name of the measurement. It is measured using a scale that shows you how much newtons is in the force. A safety rule my group and I learnt was to always use goggles during anything practical. Also to be aware of the bunsen burner and the objects surrounding it because they may catch on fire.
To always keep food and drinks in your bag while in science class. Always wear gears that protect you from chemicals splashes and spilling. So always wear Glasses, Covered shoes, and maybe a apron. Always keep materials away experiments
Rules: Keep food and drinks in your bag while in science class. Keep curtains away from the Bunsen burner just in case it sets on fire, and to keep you safe wear safety goggles.
In our science lesson on Friday we calculated measurements for... -The heat of something in calcius using a thermometer -finding the average time for water to come out of a bottle -how many newtons are used to drag a bag on the floor using a force meter
We also learnt a few safety rules needed during our science lessons these are... -making sure our bags are packed away so nobody trips over them -tucking the curtains behind the wall so they don't catch on fire -using a safety mat when doing experiments
in science i have learnt how to calculate the right temperature to 63°C with the thermometer i learnt how Isaac newton discovered gravity and i also learnt about all the safety rules/gear in that period and also know when to tuck the curtains behind the tiny wall and to get it away from the hot surface
In science me and my buddy boiled water to 63 Celsius before we started we went through some safety rules. Such as keeping the curtain tucked away so it doesn't catch on fire and also to sit away from the boiling water because the water is to hot and if it spills and your near it your likely to get burnt from the water so its safer to keep away. We also learnt how to calculate the force of pulling my bag it is measured in newtons named after a man named Issac newton who also discovered gravity when a apple fell on his head.
